I’m Vivian de los Rios, an artist and writer based in Atlanta. While my commercial artwork primarily focuses on book covers and illustrations, you’ll also find a wide array of other creative things here: paintings, sketches, travel journals, childhood memories, and the occasional short story. My name is Vivian Hansen and I'm a freelance illustrator and fine artist from the southern United States and working remotely.
I have a degree in Illustration from the Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD) and a degree in Studio Art from the University of Mississippi. Other studies included graphic design, English, and Japanese.
I'm inspired by travel and world cultures, old fairy tales, the Golden Age of Illustration, natural beauty, and classical literature.
I have worked on projects ranging from gifts and apparel with Bas Bleu, Inc., a book cover for Authentic Publishing, UK, a deck of cards produced by SCAD Atlanta, to my own line of greeting cards.
